Introducing MCP: Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can now publish through Dropslate

Dropslate now speaks MCP - the protocol Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor use to call tools on your behalf. From today, any of them can see your workspace, upload media, plan a post and queue it, the same way the dashboard does.

Two ways to connect

• Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Cursor - Settings → MCP has the server URL. Connecting opens a consent screen that names the application, lets you pick a workspace, and lists exactly what it is asking for.
• Claude Code - runs on your machine with an API key from Settings → API keys, kept in the command’s environment, never in a prompt.

What it can and cannot do

Nineteen tools cover accounts, groups, media and posts - list, plan, create, retry, cancel, reschedule. Every one of them that changes something requires an explicit confirmation; without it, the tool refuses and explains what to do instead. There is no tool to touch billing, remove a member, or delete the workspace - we did not build a permission check for those, we did not build the tool.

Settings → MCP lists every connection with its last 20 calls, and disconnects one immediately if you no longer want it there.
